I forgot my insurance

We get a lot of travellers who contact us every week as they forgot to take out insurance before they left, or are already abroad and their current insurance is about to expire and they can’t find another travel insurance policy to take out. If you’re normally resident of the UK or Europe, you can take out our Single Trip or Backpacker policies once you’ve started travelling. The main point to note is that you can only take out the insurance on the basis that no incidents have already arisen that might give rise to a claim. So if you lost your camera yesterday, you can’t take out this insurance today thinking that the insurers will refund you, as they won’t!

So you can buy travel insurance even if you’re already overseas, so get free quote and get covered!

The True Traveller is primarily a travel company, not an insurance company, and although we believe we’ve designed the best value insurance we possibly can, we understand that the price of insurance does put people off taking it out to start with. Our maxim is, if you can’t afford travel insurance, you can’t afford to travel.
