True Traveller Insurance

When travelling overseas, the one thing you should never skimp on is your travel insurance cover, as should things go wrong you want the very best cover for you and your possessions.

At The True Traveller, we’re used to advising people on travelling all around the world, and due to feedback from our customers we’ve changed our insurance website, made it even better value and extended the range of products.

We offer Single Trip cover for durations from 1 day to 1 year, Backpacker Travel Insurance for travellers going from 1 month to 1 year, and Annual Multi-Trip Insurance for those who are lucky enough to have the time to take more than one trip a year.

We’ve tried to get the prices as keen as possible on all our insurances. This means on the Single Trip and Annual Multi-Trip you have the option to exclude Baggage Cover as this may well be covered in your Home Contents insurance; you also have the option to add-in an “Adventure Pack” which will cover you for very adventurous activities including Trekking over 2000m, scuba diving up to 40 metres in depth and even Shark Cage diving, which is in addition to the 50 activities included as standard.

On the Backpackers Policy we were told by you that you didn’t want the expensive parts of the insurance, the cancellation cover (you don’t have any hotels pre-booked so what’s the point) and baggage cover (what is the contents of your backpack really worth?) So we have managed to drive the prices down, but all the other parts of the insurance are fully in force. You still have the option to add-on the “Adventure Pack” as well.

We call these Insurances True Value for the Backpacker Policy, True Traveller for the Standard Policy, and True Adventure which includes all the adventurous activities.

The True Traveller is a travel company, not an insurance company, and although we believe we’ve designed the best value insurance we possibly can, we understand that the price of insurance does put people off taking it out to start with. Our maxim is, if you can’t afford travel insurance, you can’t afford to travel.
